Sage 50 - versions

Sage 50 is available in several flavours which provide varying levels of functionality to suit businesses as they grow in size and complexity.

Sage 50 Accountant

Sage 50 Accountant is designed for growing companies where reporting on financial data is important. It provides easy-to-use tools to help you manage your customers, suppliers and bank accounts as well as your day-to day finances, VAT Returns and Year End accounts.  Additional features include: Cash Flow Planner, Product Valuation and Profit reports. There is also a basic invoice feature and links to allow your accountant to help you with your accounting. Sage 50 Accountant will allow up to two users.

Sage 50 Accountant Plus

Sage 50 Accountant plus has all the features of Sage 50 Accountant but with more sophisticated invoicing and stock management modules. Accountant Plus users benefit from several more advanced modules and features including Bill of Materials, Quotations and Pro-forma invoicing, multiple delivery addresses, departmental transactional profit and loss reports and multiple customer price lists. Accountant Plus now also has Credit Control and Project Costing modules and Excel Integrated Reporting and will also support two users.

Sage 50 Accountant Professional

The Accountant Professional version of Sage 50 has all of the above features but includes sales and purchase orders and the ability to trade in foreign currencies. It also has more advanced stock control facilities including order shortfall calculation and preduct re-ordering to allow you to plan your stock holding more accurately.  Sage 50 Accountant Professional can also run accounts for multiple companies and then run a consolidation.  The maximum number of users for Sage 50 Accountant Professional is 10.
