What is CRM?
Customer Relationship Management
(CRM) is often, mistakenly, believed to be the preserve of large
corporations with big IT budgets. This is definitely not
the case. CRM is, at its heart, a way of focusing any
business and its staff onto the needs and patterns of behaviour
of its customers. By centralising all information about
customers and developing processes that allow staff to use that
information to the benefit of the customer, CRM systems can:

- Improve the closure rate
of deals
- Enhance customer loyalty
by improving customer service
- Increase efficiency,
reduce cost and improve margin
Of course, technology plays a
part in the overall mix of a CRM solution but in the modern

suited to any size of business -CRM is definitely not the
